Internship Training : Session on PHP

Hi,

On 26-12-2010(Sunday) Chandrashekar sir handled a short session on PHP. The session was started by 12.30 PM.

Basics in PHP

Chandrashekar sir first taught us about the variable scope and static variables. Then he taught us about the super global variables like

• $_GET
• $_POST
• $_REQUEST
• $_SERVER

with example demos.

Then he explained about the GET and POST method using an login form example. He also showed a trick to login as a user without a password. By explaining this he taught us how we can avoid writing insecure codes in PHP. Very interesting.

Then sir taught us how to upload a file to server or any location in the file system with an example. Nice explanation.

These are all the things sir taught us today(26-12-2010). He insisted us to go through the php manual.

The session was over by 2.30 PM. This was the short session on PHP but we learnt many things. The session was very useful. Thanks to Chandrashekar sir.
